Grok Business / Enterprise
If you don’t see Custom under New Connector, a team admin has to add the WitchPrompt MCP URL in the xAI console first. After that, each person connects at grok.com/connectors as above.
After you connect
- Ask Grok to run a prompt by name. If the template needs values you didn’t give, Grok asks for them in the same chat and runs the filled-in prompt there. No new conversation needed.
- To stop Grok's access, remove WitchPrompt in Grok, or revoke it underYour connections.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| Tools look outdated (use_prompt missing) or calls fail with 401 | Grok saves the tool list and sign-in when you connect. Disconnect WitchPrompt in Grok, then connect it again. |
| No Custom option under New Connector | Your plan or workspace admin controls this. On Grok Business / Enterprise, ask an admin to add the MCP URL in the xAI console first. |
| Authorize stays disabled | The connector needs an account with WitchPrompt Pro. The WitchPrompt screen lists what is missing. |
| prompt_not_found | Use a slug from "List my prompts". |
| Can't see someone else's private prompts | Expected. A connection only reaches your own prompts, plus other people's public prompts. |
