Connect WitchPrompt to ChatGPT

For ChatGPT on the web. Once connected, WitchPrompt is available in your chats on every device signed in to the same ChatGPT account.

What you need

  2. 2ChatGPTChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Edu, with developer mode turned on (on Business / Enterprise an admin may need to allow it).

ChatGPT only reaches your prompts once you sign in.

Steps

    In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.

    Back in Apps, click Create app.

  3. 3

    Name it WitchPrompt.

    Set the MCP server URL to the WitchPrompt MCP URL.

    Authentication: choose OAuth.

    Tick "I understand and want to continue", then click Create.

  7. 7

    Sign in to WitchPrompt in the window that opens and click Authorize. ChatGPT also asks to see your email address.

    Start a new chat and ask "Which WitchPrompt account am I connected to?".

    Then try "List my prompts" or "Run my welcome-email prompt".

ChatGPT Business / Enterprise / Edu

If you don’t see Developer mode or Create app, a workspace admin has to allow developer mode or custom apps for your workspace first.

WitchPrompt plan

You need an existing WitchPrompt account with Pro. Plans are managed on witchprompt.com; nothing is bought through ChatGPT.

After you connect

  • Pick WitchPrompt from the tools / + menu in a chat if ChatGPT doesn’t use it on its own.
  • ChatGPT asks for confirmation before tools that overwrite or delete prompts and presets.
  • To stop ChatGPT's access, remove WitchPrompt in ChatGPT, or revoke it underYour connections.

Troubleshooting

SymptomFix
Tools look outdated (use_prompt missing) or calls fail with 401ChatGPT saves the tool list and sign-in when you connect. Disconnect WitchPrompt in ChatGPT, then connect it again.
No Developer mode or Create appDeveloper mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan, and on Business / Enterprise / Edu an admin must allow it.
Authorize stays disabledThe connector needs an account with WitchPrompt Pro. The WitchPrompt screen lists what is missing.
prompt_not_foundUse a slug from "List my prompts".
Can't see someone else's private promptsExpected. A connection only reaches your own prompts, plus other people's public prompts.
